Q. Who or What is a Broken Christian?
A. Broken Christians are adults who — though they are Christians — still struggle with issues that are linked to trauma caused by childhood abuse, neglect or divorce.
Some of the issues broken Christians may have are addictions, perfectionism, low self-esteem, anxiety/fear, problems with authority figures, etc.
Most often broken Christians attend church and can be dedicated to Bible study, prayer and Christian service, yet…they still suffer. Surprisingly, many Church leaders are broken Christians.
A consistent fact is that most broken Christians do not realize the true source of their present day issues. They can also be in denial or have difficulty understanding or believing that they have these issues, especially – after being a Christian for many years. This article explains broken Christians in detail.
